Application and Registration Policies
All applications are to be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of $50. Prospective students will be required to submit a hand-written essay with their application as part of the acceptance process. The topic for the essay is included on the application. The length of the essay may vary depending upon the age of the student. This essay is not used as a litmus test to determine admission, so we ask that parents not help the student with the essay. We require the essay so that we can know what the student thinks, and so that we can see the writing ability of the student. When parents help students write the essay it undermines our ability to understand the student's writing ability. Shortly after your application is received by Heritage, you will receive a packet with instructions for your family about the next steps and with recommendation forms to be completed by two references for each student. Reference forms are not required for returning students, but all students must submit an essay whether or not they have been previously enrolled in Heritage.
